The Marshall's Arm Management Committee organises an annual calendar of events, covering a wide range of subjects, including the reserve's wildlife, it's history and the arts. Events for 2023 are currently being arranged.  Check back soon for more information.

VOLUNTEERS
Once a month a dedicated and friendly team of volunteers at Marshall's Arm work on site completing practical tasks.  These can include felling and coppicing, path clearance, habitat management, step building, invasive plant removal and litter clearance.  All of these are dependent on the time of year.  No previous experience is required as all training is provided by our contractor Tim Kirwin of Wilder Things who leads each session. Safety equipment and tools are also provided on each day but feel free to bring your own gloves.  Waterproofs, sturdy boots and refreshments need to be be provided by each participant.  The sessions run from 10am until 3pm but you can stay for a morning or all day the choice is yours.  everyone works to their own ability and energy levels so there will always be something for everyone. If you are keen to attend please contact us for more information about future meets.
